Laugh

Wednesday, October 30, 2013

I'm perfectly positive that this is not the first time I've posted this quotation.
There's something simplistic yet profound in this reminder.
Laugh when you don't feel like it. Laugh when you can do nothing else. Laugh just to laugh.

Life hasn't exactly dealt me a lemon-y deck, but I have found myself feeling extra tart this week.
Maybe it's because there's no more pumpkin pie in my fridge (um, my fault). Maybe it's the pregnancy hormones. Maybe it's because I miss my mamma more than I can bear. Maybe the distance between friends feels extra long these days.

I'd really like to believe that we are all responsible for our responses to life, lemons or no. So today, I'm going to try to throw my head back and laugh like hell... because really, I can't do anything else about it.

I'm having one of those days too...I think it's just the hormones. I'm tired, have no energy, and just want to throw myself a pity party. Here's is hoping that tomorrow is a little better!

If you force yourself to laugh you'll start laughing for real anyway! :)

such a simple statement, but so true. I'm going to staple this to my forehead.

When I was pregnant, every emotion I felt used to be magnified! I used to feel tart about everything and miss my mother like hell. It gets better (cliche..wahh, wahh). Soon, you will have days where nothing will get you down ;)

I so wish I could wrap you in a giant hug right now because I've so been there. In fact, I am there. I know it's such a cliche to say but you've got a lovely house, a job you like, a devoted hubby and a precious baby girl. Count your blessings as much as you can, it really does help to put things in perspective <3
